The Coeur-du-Québec region is halfway between Quebec City and Montreal. Because of the forests circling it at north, the Apalaches Mountains protecting it at south and St.-Lawrence river crossing it from one end to the other, this is a must see region far all nature lovers. The Mauricie National Park offers visitors a variety of outdoor activities. On the St.Lawrence south shore, visit Victoriaville, Bécancour. Don't forget Drummondville, host of the International Folklore festival (held 7-16 July) where more than 20 countries gather each year to reveal to you their traditions and culture. Also, be sure to make a stop at the Village Québécois d'Antan, witch recreates local 1880's rural life.
