At the northern extremity of the northshore of the Saint-Lawrence River, discover the Duplessis region. Visit the Archipel-des-Sept-Îles Park, an ideal place for observation of marine mammals and seabirds. From Longue Pointe take a boat and go whale watching. A few of the many natural wonders this region has to offer are the Mingan Archipelago with its fabulous monoliths, and the Anticosti Island famous for its sea-sculpted coasts, gorges, caves and rushing rivers.
