The Outaouais region is nature close at hand with the Gatineau Park and the Plaisance, Papineau-Labelle or La Vérendrye wild life Reserves. Its also some 20 000 lakes and rivers like the Grande Outaouais, the Gatineau, the Lièvre, the Petite Nation and the Coulonge rivers. But moreover it is an impressive urban landscape with its historical monuments, its numerous museums, its art galleries and its cultural attractions.
