Quebec city is the only fortified city in North America. Visitors will discover there a blend of past and present. Witnesses of the past, the Abraham plains, the Citadelle, the Royal place share the landscape with the most contemporary governmental and hotel structures of the city. The English military occupation , in addition with the age of shipbuilding and trading with England had also a great impact on the landscape of the city. This summer the sky will be filled with colors during Les Grands Feux Loto-Québec. Because of the rare beauty of this natural setting, these shows will constitute a unique event in Canada.
